What a find! We were dreading the logistics of renting a car from downtown Athens, but returning to Kifisia (on a Sunday when the car rental agencies in Kifisia were all closed). And then we came across Balloon Car Rental and found it to be the perfect answer! The booking went off without a hitch. The agents who brought us the car in Athens and picked it up from us in Kifisia were prompt, polite, and professional. Although the door-to-door service was priceless, the pricing was very fair. We will 100% use Balloon Cars again.
There are a lot of good things to say about Balloon Car Rental. First, the day before I was ready to pick up the car they called to make arrangements, told me I could pick up the keys that day then drive it away the next. They were kind and hlepful at the office when doing all the paperwork and explained all the return options. On the day of return they were responsive to my questions.
Everything was quick and easy to understand. They were friendly. The price was great. No hassles.

The service was perfect: clear communication, perfect timing and everything as planned. There was no mileage limitations, which helped us a lot and gave us no thoughts at all during our vacation. No credit card needed with the full insurance since there was no deposit taken, which was a huge plus. The car was new and as expected.

We needed a car on short notice after returning from a catamaran trip to the nearby islands, as we had planned to spend one more day in Athens. We arranged to pick up the car directly from Alimos Marina and return it at the airport the following day.

Let me begin by saying that I have been renting cars in Greece for over 40 years and my most recent rental with Balloon Car Rental tops all of my previous experiences. What a great company and outstanding group of individuals. Dealing with Petro, Gianna and staff made our experience so enjoyable that I extended my six day rental to seventeen days even though we have our own car at our disposal. This group of individuals exemplify an excellence often not seen in Greece! The Toyota Yaris that was provided for our needs was an excellent car with all the modern features anyone would need to make travel in Greece utterly enjoyable. Gianna delivered the car to us at the airport and Petro met us at the same location upon our departure. Using our Balloon rental allowed me to take care of maintenance needs that my car needed. I was so please with this rental experience that it prompted me to have this rental car fully washed, vacuumed and cleaned prior to its return to Petro and his staff. What was most satisfying though was Balloon's customer service which will prompt me to rent from them from now on when I don't need or want to use my own car. Bravo Balloon! I would give you ten stars if it were possible!
